Craftsmanship & Materials:
The glass bone is hand-strung onto wire chosen for it's strength - a beautiful Tarnish-Resistant Silver-Coated Wire, selected for its strength beauty. Its resilient copper core provides reliable shape-retaining support for the handmade loop headpin which is strung through the glass bone, while the tarnish-resistant silver coating offers a smooth, luminous finish that resists dulling over time. The handmade headpin features an elegant stacked-loop end at both the top and bottom of the pendant. These tiny parallel wire loops cradle the bead securely, preventing any twist or slide. A sterling silver jump ring threads through the top loops, suspending the bone from a dainty 20-inch, 1 mm box-chain necklace finished with a traditional lobster clasp.
While supplies last; the Czech Glass Bone beads used in our pendants are no longer being produced, once our supply of them are gone, they are dog-gone-gone.

Why Czech Glass?
Czech glass is celebrated for the craftsmanship, historical significance in jewelry making. It also sought after for due to the clarity/gloss, color depth, and uniformity. Unlike ordinary glass, Czech glass beads ensure a flawless surface and are richly pigmented for long-lasting vibrancy. I hand-inspect every bone, rejecting any with chips, cracks, or stray dye flecks to guarantee you receive only the most beautiful piece. These bones are made in the Czech Republic from their locally sourced silica sand. Funfact!
Czech glass is 80% sand (the other raw materials are sodium bicarbonate and potassium from plants).

Unique Variations
Because each pendant is handmade, you’ll discover slight variations in color and pattern. Biscuit (beige) bones feature gentle swooshes of light and medium tan tones. Please know that the Classical (black) bones and Spirit (white) bones are truly solid color. The pieces shown in our images are accurate representatives from the same Czech glass bone bead lot that your pendant will be crafted from, but the photos are not the "exact" pendant you’ll receive — these minor cosmetic differences make yours uniquely yours.
